My 88 yr. Old mother was a guest for 7 months while her apartment was being renovated. I have the upmost respect for Frank and his crew. They made my mother's stay so enjoyable! I was very comfortable with her staying there. To observe a happy staff shows great management. A+ to the team!!
I spent two nights there this past fall. The rooms are fresh, clean and comfortable. Having a kitchenette was definately a plus! They are dog friendly and there is plenty of room to walk your pet around as I was able to do with Major.
A bit pricey. But room felt very clean. Comfortable bed.
Nice hotel. Clean. Did not go in was just there to take pictures. Location was not hard to find but could use some more directional signs.
Clean room and comfortable beds. Loved having a full size refrigerator. Staff was mostly kind of rude with the exception of 1 or 2 people. It is under construction so one of the elevators is down and the only working one smells like cigarettes. There is no breakfast at this location or pool, but they do have washers and dryers. Overall a good place to stay
Location is beautiful. Hotel and room was very clean and has everything needed. Staff is very friendly. I used Booking.com to book my 2 night stay. Booking quoted a price that Candlewood is not honoring. Also the pricing information provided via an email is not the same information I signed, unfortunately I didn't request a copy of what I signed. Be sure to get copies and be aware you may be chargef more than what you are quoted if booking through another site. I have never had a hotel charge me more than what I was quoted on Booking.com.
Not fancy, but a lovely place to stay for a a Michigan weekend! Both front desk employees we interacted with were kind and genuine. I was especially impressed by the 2nd employee we met. At check in, I forgot to confirm what time check out was, so I stopped by the front desk the last morning of our stay. When I asked, the employee responded with “it’s 11, but take your time! No rush.” And it was just such a lovely way to answer the question and change the tone of packing up. Plenty of space and cool AC during the hot summer. Enjoyable stay over all!
